ProCori partners with ShareLogic to unlock ticket exchange integration efficiency

Helping get things done

As an IT consultancy with a strong focus on IT delivery, ProCori turns the ‘what’ into the ‘how’, and the ‘how’ into action. With strong advisory and solution expertise, it passionately co-creates value with its customers on their service management journey.

ProCori is a Premier ServiceNow partner and one of very few consultancies with a 100% focus on the Now Platform, including advisory services, implementation and training.

In the past, ProCori was implementing ticket exchange integrations by customising the entire solution, leading to long project lead times and time-consuming development.

“On average, it took us 300 hours to integrate ticketing systems, and that was just the technical part,” explains Daniel Billing, Founder and Solutions Architect at ProCori. “We realised we needed a standardised solution that would speed up the process and reduce the level of custom coding required.”

After conducting in-depth research of the integration engine market, ProCori entered into a strategic partnership with ShareLogic. ProCori saw in ShareLogic a company that could match its values and ways of working and saw the Unifi integration platform as the perfect fit for ProCori’s ServiceNow-oriented business model.

‘A system built on experience’

By adopting Unifi ProCori has been able to cut the average time required to complete a ticket exchange integration from 300 hours to 40 – 60 hours. As a result, project lead times have been reduced significantly, improving the agility and speed of ProCori’s services.

“As one of our customers told us, ‘This is a system built on experience, by people who really know integrations.’”

ShareLogic’s partner support has been incredibly valuable: “I would say that the quality and speed of ShareLogic’s support is unmatched in the industry. Our customers benefit from it too as projects move forward without any interruptions,” explains Billing. “As one of our customers told us, ‘This is a system built on experience, by people who really know integrations.’”

The time required to build an integration however is just a fraction of the time it is in service. Once deployed, Unifi offers actionable insights into mission-critical operations, giving maintenance teams on the front line the tools to identify and resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.

“Unifi offers full visibility and transparency through a single dashboard. All transactional data, processing and logs are stored conveniently and within easy reach. That’s a huge benefit and an important competitive advantage of Unifi,” explains Billing.

Orchestrating mission-critical integrations

ProCori’s customers will often consider ServiceNow’s own IntegrationHub when looking at different integration solutions.

“While IntegrationHub is a great technical delivery mechanism, it is not a solution that is built around a business case,” explains Billing. “I often use a logistics analogy to describe the difference between IntegrationHub and Unifi. IntegrationHub is like booking a lorry to deliver cargo from point A to point B. In comparison, Unifi delivers a full logistics service, complete with resourcing, support, monitoring and back-up services.”

ProCori has now used Unifi on many customer projects. One recent example is a Swedish multinational company that was looking to streamline the integration of its price list publishing catalogue and web ordering. Manual processes for updating the product catalogue and manual back-office processes that supported the company’s ServiceNow portal have now been automated, with the Unifi platform orchestrating all mission-critical integrations.

“Building integrations with Unifi is a bit like setting up your home gym. It has extensive tools and capabilities that you may not use right from the start, but, as you build up your ‘integration muscle’, the platform enables you to scale fast, utilising its wide range of features,”

It has extensive tools and capabilities that you may not use right from the start, but, as you build up your ‘integration muscle’, the platform enables you to scale fast, utilising its wide range of features,” comments Billing.

A partnership founded on trust

With Unifi developed specifically for ServiceNow, ProCori was able to draw on existing ServiceNow knowledge and expertise in-house, without any significant investments in training and development.

The Unifi Integration Designer is a low-code to pro-code tool, requiring less coding expertise from ProCori’s consultants who can hit the ground running quickly.

“Unifi’s ease of use has been well received by our customers. They too can plug and play without any special training because of their existing ServiceNow competencies,” adds Billing.

Over the years ProCori’s partnership with ShareLogic has matured into a close collaboration, underpinned by total transparency and trust. Billing concludes: “We have full confidence in ShareLogic as a company, its technology, expertise and support. Together, we will continue reimagining the integration experience for our customers, freeing up their time to focus on their core business.”
